Buenos noches all!!
Stormpulse.com was correct. That tropical depression left our part of the world and we had blue skies all day!! It was hot again after a very cool evening. We only used the a/c in our bedroom for 1 hour as we hit lows of 23,9 grados and ayer we had a high of only 28,4.
Our coolest night since the end of marzo…and it was a nice 25 grados at 9am today. Loving it!!
Battery update. I guess I should have bought a spare while in Canada, but I never thought it would just go ka-put. No luck at both tiendas here in town, and DHL courier is a minimum $70 for a delivery from US or Canada. For that $$, I think I can almost buy another small camera here. Hmmmm.
I have put out the 411 and asked Daniel to ask Lalo if he can find one in Acapulco (if he is still there) and I also asked Karen from Sr Pucks if she knew of anyone coming down in the next 4 weeks. No luck, but she will keep her ears open.
I did find a Best Buy in Flagstaff AZ that carries them. Flagstaff is a possible pit stop, the night before Vegas if that happens. Stay tuned.
Great doctors visit. We make him laugh and today this is what we did to do so.
We first have the question period and then Bexico gets on the table and when doctor lifted up her shirt and over niño, he did a double take, started laughing VERY hard and then took out his own camera!! Ja ja ja
Doctor says niño is now head down which is the preferred position, but he also said niño is also facing Bexico’s back, which is the best position for when niño is born. He did say this is not as common as face forward, but all is good.
Most often niños facing forward have to turn themselves around before birth, so our niño is just smarter…do it now and don’t worry about it later!!

It came compliments of our doctor when he could not translate a body part from español into ingles, and then realized that he even forgot what the part was called in español. We all had a laugh. Hmmm. Ja ja ja
Lunch was very good. We went to West Park Café and had some great sandwiches on fresh baked pan. Hello!! We also talked to Max the owner and he did not have much advice about pediatricians here in Huatulco. I guess his wife deals with the niños and they go back to DF a couple of times a year and the kids get check ups there.
We have two names from our doctor and will follow up with them. There are a ton of healthy kids here…we are not worried.

My gym was good…empty when I came in and not so hot!! I also saw Mirna, one of the 5 (yes 5…all at once) senoritas that I had danced with at the 15th cumpleaños fiesta for Memos hermana. Mirna is quite sad that Rosa is gone and I promised to email her and let Rosa know that.
Throw in some GREAT alberca time, and that was the day for me. Cerdo con papas for la cena and mañana we are onto the pechuga de pollo.
1015pm and Bexico is still hard at work in her oficina. She had another technical issue with her software, but we managed to get it figured out. So not only does she need the new Mac, but also new animation software.
Bexico is using software made by a GREAT animation software company but it is one of their first editions and it has its flaws and limitations.
But more good news, she was invited to interview for another animation!! Stay tuned.

Why the cultural article? We were discussing how tranquilo La Crucecita is compared to Oaxaca (city) and he wanted to show me even more about Mexican culture.

Inmigracion for 9am sharp, Scotiabank where I have a DEPOSIT limit of $15,000 pesos/mes (???), Fontaur for some recycling and then Telmex (wish us luck). Then off to el gimnasio and Bexico back to the oficina!!
Also hoping to hook up via iChat with mi hermana. A full jueves!!
Ahhh…hoy was miercoles, but we did not feel like seeing La Linterna Verde, the Green Lantern, so no pelicula for us today.
