What is the best way to end a day that had many stress inducing moments? Manage to find episode 5 of Entourage’s season 8 and stream it online!! Hello?

Buenos noches all. Not too bad a day, but yes, I did blow the gasket a few times.

¿Por que? Bought some smelly pollo from Che, spilt a full salad y dressing on the floor, the truck does not seem to be running smooth…

Not complaining…just too many little things all at once. But welcome to Mexico!!

Che has been hit and miss with their pollo…must figure this out. I wonder if they are changing the dates on their product as I cannot remember ever having issues like this with Costco or Stupid Store.

As for the caminoeta…it just seems to be running rough. So back to see Carlos and sooner then later as we leave in 3 weeks and one day. And who wants to get stuck in Ixmiquilipan Mexico with a broken down camioneta? Ja ja ja

I am hooking up with the boys mañana to watch their partido de raipdo, maybe I will talk to them then.

As for the truck window, Raphael does not deal in windows, so I will need to see Pablo. $1500 pesos for a new window motor…if it is needed.

B10 is coming along. Managed to email back and forth with N&A and they approved the final work and today Roman had some lights installed. We are still waiting for the plomero…he is a big fan of the palabra “mañana”. Ja ja ja Hope to have the secadora installed by fin de semana…but now I need to buy an extension cord as the electrical plug was installed with the stacking model in mind. Of course!!

Good workout at el gimnasio. Galdino came over to talk about Rebecca, mi esposa. I had to explain to him that we are not married but as we have a niño coming and we are in Mexico, he will continue to call her mi esposa. Hey, at your own risk big guy!!! Ja ja ja

I guess Galdino had talked with Rosa who sent both Bexico and myself a hola via Galdino.

Talking about niños, school is definitely back for the kids. Lots of taxis full of families and lots of madres walking home with their kids. They all wear uniforms here, easy to spot school kids.

Said hola to Daniel and the gang and have no news on the batería. He thinks it will be here viernes though. A quick trip from Monterrey to DF to Huatulco is what he thinks. Fingers crossed…stay tuned.

Not much else new here. Ran out and picked up a roti to replace the stinky chicken and Bexico had a plate of pollo, papas y verdura and I threw my pollo into a tomato sauce con cebollo y chorizo.

Che was Che, but did I tell you we found some Reese Peanut Butter Cups a few weeks back. Hello!! But I am not sure they will beat the Bubu Lubu.

Here is a link to some info on the Bubu Lubu.

As for Bexicos work…I distracted her with some alberca time and Entourage time, so at 1045pm she is still at it in her oficina.

But some more great news…Bexico awoke to having a new contract, first a character design and then maybe animating it!!

She also heard back from a possible client…a Canadian guy who lives in China…but hadn’t kept his promise to “get back to her” a month ago. Work is work, but sometimes dealing with certain types of personalities does not make it as much fun for her. Stay tuned.

So on the go, Bexico has two paying clients and a few nibbles still. She was almost finished her recent animation but the client wants to add a character into the animation, so more work. Not a bad thing as Bexico is paid by the hour!!

The plan is to take a break while I transport her computer to Vancouver, but then continue working from home for as long as she feels comfortable. It is truly a blessing to be able to make your own hours and be your own boss and she is thriving in that environment.

Ok folks, that is all.

Hasta mañana…keep your fingers crossed for mi camioneta y mi batería!!
