Wow…what a tranquilo day!!

Well, other then the walk in 35 degree heat and witnessing a street fight…it was a quiet day.

La lucha? No sé. I was about to walk and get some verdura for salads and la cena, when I looked across the street and saw dos hombres going at it. The senoritas started yelling and it was all over in a few minutes.

Could have spilled out from one of the local cantinas (maybe the Abba cd was broken? Ja ja ja)…but really, who wants to brawl in 35 degree heat?

Awoke to a sunny day and had huevos revueltos y bagels para desayunos. NY bagels…or so they say.

The race did not start until 1215’ish, so off to the pool for some float time. The first 15 minutes was spent at the far end of the pool, waiting for D-weed to finish his cigar.

Great float and then it was upstairs for almost 4 hours of racing!! Great feed and picture quality and a great end to this race as well!! Now, I am told by Bexico that I might have missed a few minutes of the race…can you say “siesta on the couch”? Hey…it is domingo!!

Did the walk and then it was salad time, followed by Bexico’s weekly Skype with the Arnolds.

Cooked the 500 gramo steaks and perfect timing as the Skype was over and you know who managed to find online, episode 1 of Entourage season 8!! Dinner and Entourage!!

But red alert!! I have now opened the last container of Bubba’s favorite cooking spice.

Five weeks and one shaker…gonna be tight. Talking about spices, I was trading recipes with Daniel and he tells me he has never cooked with crushed red peppers (red chili peppers). Hmmm? He suggested I cook a favorite meal for him, and he will do the same for us. I think I will take him up on that offer!!

As for Bexico…do I smell more work? She is almost finished the Scoops re-do’s and is working on a “diet angel” animation, and tonight she received an email from that client, asking her if she has time for 2 more videos. Wow!! Bexico will Skype with him mañana and we will see where this all leads.

Once Scoops is public, we will post a link to it. Stay tuned.

Mexico tid bit.

In the city of Oaxaca, this coming Friday is “The Day of the Taxi”. All the taxis are decorated and they go to a place called Llano Park where they get blessed. Who knew?

Mañana? Che and probably also head to Elektra to buy the washer/dryer. Here’s hoping for some opportunities to take fotos!!

Hasta mañana.
